Last updated: September 2023

A healthier re-creation of a childhood favorite snack, These yogurt pops are frozen tubes of fruity deliciousness.

Tupperware container to store batch of freshly made fruity pops before going into the freezer

A refreshing "homemade gogurt" recipe that's packed with flavor and simple ingredients! With only 4 ingredients, this has become one of our favorite at-home freezer treats for the summer (or really just year-round). An easy toddler snack with minimal prep time!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup whole milk plain or Greek yogurt (note Greek yogurt will be a bit more tart and will require more sweetness from honey or maple syrup)

  • 1 cup cleaned berries (fresh or frozen) - can use strawberry, blueberry, mixed berries, etc.

  • 2-3 tbsp honey or maple syrup (avoid honey for littles 1 & under)

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

DIRECTIONS

  • Blend all ingredients in high-speed blender

  • Pour mix into tubes (the funnel is key here to avoid mess) & seal without air bubbles (see my counter trick in Instagram video for sealing)

  • Place in freezer

  • When ready to serve, place tube in warm water for about 1 minute and it will have a great (chilled) consistency to squeeze out of tubes! Or, you can place in a lunchbox or other to-go container and it'll be ready for snack time/lunch time.

NOTES

  • Freeze for up to 2 months.

  • When pulling from freezer, let sit in warm water (fully sealed still) for about 1 minute for the perfect texture! You can also pack in the AM in lunchboxes and they should be a chilled, nice consistency for lunchtime.

  • You can use 1 cup of basically any fruit you'd like here (mango, strawberries, banana, peach, etc.)

  • Fruit can be fresh or frozen here!

  • This recipe can also be used to pour into popsicle molds!

  • The superseed boosters from Tiny Sprouts are a perfect add-in for this recipe! Hemp seeds, flax seeds, or chia seeds add some extra nutrition and can easily be sprinkled in. Code MYTODDLERSKITCHEN gets you 10% off your purchase on their site.
