We’re big cinnamon roll people over here so you can imagine my excitement when I first made this recipe and re-created all the delicious cinnamon roll flavors in a smoothie! Something I love about this recipe is that it’s a filling and healthy option for breakfast. I’ll serve this by itself or with some simple avocado toast for a quick and easy breakfast for my little one and it saves me on days that I don’t have much time to prepare something. As with all smoothie recipes, this one can be frozen to make CINNAMON ROLL POPSICLES that you can serve for breakfast. Yep, it doesn’t get cooler than that. Hope you enjoy this one!

Ingredients of a cinnamon roll smoothie in blender before blending

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large frozen ripe banana (ripe is key for sweetness!)

  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh strawberry

  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh mango

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • Optional: handful of spinach or kale

  • Optional: sprinkle of superseed boosters

DIRECTIONS

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until texture is smooth!

NOTES

  • The banana should be frozen in this recipe to give the smoothie the best texture.

  • Dates or maple syrup will give this smoothie recipe the added sweetness of a cinnamon roll. Either will work!

  • You can add a handful of ice (if your blender allows) as well.

  • Your milk of choice will work here (whole milk, almond milk, etc.)

  • To thicken up smoothies, you can add Greek yogurt, almond butter, or avocado.

  • The superseed boosters from Tiny Sprouts are a perfect add-in for this recipe! Hemp seeds, flax seeds, or chia seeds add some extra nutrition and can easily be sprinkled in. Code MYTODDLERSKITCHEN gets you 10% off your purchase on their site.

  • This recipe can also be used for homemade popsicles! Just pour the batter into a popsicle mold and freeze for up to 3 months.
