A simple and nutritious dip for snacking!

It doesn’t get easier (or more delicious) than this simple peanut butter yogurt dip! It’s just four ingredients and is the perfect dip for snack time or breakfast! I like to serve this dip with apple fries, graham crackers, or bananas for snacks. It’s also a fun spread on toast for an easy breakfast idea.

Check out my instagram reel on this recipe for a quick visual on how I put it together with a snack plate!

A few mealtime favorites make this easy recipe even better:

  1. The Bumkins Silicone Little Dippers: they are a perfect silicone cup that attaches to silicone plates and hold this dip so well. We have them in several shapes and colors and use them daily in meals.

  2. The Tiny Sprouts Superseeds: I use these truly in so, so many recipes and this is a perfect one to sprinkle in some milled chia seeds, flax seeds, or digestion boosters for that easy added nutrition. You can use my code MYTODDLERSKITCHEN for 10% off of your purchase!

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 tbsp Greek whole milk yogurt

  2. 1 tbsp peanut butter

  3. 1/8 tsp (ish) of honey (optional - for sweetness)

  4. Pinch of cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients together in small bowl until combined well

  2. Serve with snacks like graham crackers and fruit, or spread on top of toast!

NOTES

  • In place of Greek yogurt, you can use plain whole milk yogurt as well. Just note that the consistency won't be as thick but it will still work!

  • Other nut butters or nut-free butters can be used in place of peanut butter here (seed + oat butter, granola butter, sunflower seed butter, etc.)

  • For littles under 1, avoid honey in this dip.

  • I don't recommend this being the first time littles try peanut butter (if uncertain of allergies). Since this dip has both peanuts and dairy, it can be tough to distinguish which food gives an allergic reaction (if any).

  • This would be a fun recipe to sprinkle in some superseed boosters from Tiny Sprouts for added nutrition (milled chia seeds, flax seeds, etc.).
