homemade strawberry popsicles

Published: July 2024

A super simple and refreshing homemade strawberry popsicle!

These homemade strawberry popsicles are as simple as they get! With as little as 3 ingredients (the 4th ingredient is optional), you just toss them in a high-speed blender and pour into popsicle molds to freeze!

Here are some of my favorite popsicle molds on Amazon. This recipe makes anywhere from 4-5 popsicles and if I have any leftover mixture, I like to pour into a small toddler smoothie cup for a refreshing drink with some crackers for an at-home snack. Any high-speed blender will work in this recipe - I love this Ninja one and have been using it for years.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups strawberries

  • 1/4 cup water

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Optional: squeeze of honey (about 1 tbsp)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until texture is puree-like (there should be no strawberry chunks)

  2. Pour mixture into popsicle molds (see bottom of recipe card for links to molds I like on Amazon). If you have leftover mixture, just pour into a cup to serve to you/your little one as a refreshing beverage!

  3. Place in freezer until mixture is completely hardened (usually takes at least 6 hours to freeze)

  4. When ready to serve, just take out of the popsicle mold and enjoy!

NOTES

  • Honey should be avoided in this recipe if serving to kids 1 and under. It's also completely optional and can just be added to sweeten this recipe.

  • You can use water or coconut water in this recipe, both will work!
